The designs for this ‘bakery’ are based on the charming elaborate wrought iron signs, which were often used in the villages of the Alsace.
For these signs I did custom lettering to really embrace the artisan craftsmanship. The use of wood carving for the other signs is to emphasise the craft and the use of local materials of that time of age.
Funny details are that the wrought iron sign also carries the symbol of the Alsace region in the hat of the baker. Also the base ingredient ‘wheat’ and shape of a pretzel are among these details.

Designs for manhole covers of the Rulantica Water park and the Kronasar hotel. Each cover shows elements of the particular subject. Because the Kronasar Hotel has a nautical theme the cover shows the crown logo of the hotel and different nautical elements.
The Rulantica cover shows a view on the Tre Kronor ship (of the story) discovering the island of Rulantica.
These covers were relief carved out of brass.
